Kourtney Kardashian shows off humble Christmas tree at $9m home as star remains away from spotlight after giving birth

KOURTNEY Kardashian has shown off her Christmas tree inside her $9 million mansion in a new photo while she remains out of the spotlight.

The Kardashians star has kept a low profile since welcoming her fourth child - her first with her husband, Travis Barker, 48 - last month.

On Saturday, Kourtney, 44, posted a snap on her Instagram Stories of her humble spruce tree in the middle of her Los Angeles, California home.

It showed the tree covered with lit-up white lights, illuminating the entire room.

Despite the tree's seemingly large size, it appeared to be very simply decorated as there weren't any ornaments or other decor on it.

The Hulu star gave birth to her son, Rocky Thirteen, on November 1 and has yet to introduce him to the world.

However, she and Travis reportedly have big plans for the holidays and have been hard at work with preparations.

A source close to the pair claimed to Us Weekly that the Poosh founder has "already started celebrating the season with an Elf on the Shelf for everybody, including her baby boy.”

Kourtney is also a mom to sons Mason, 14; Reign, nine; and a daughter, Penelope, 11, with her ex, Scott Disick, 40.

The insider also noted that Travis and his kids, Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, who he shares with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, 48, have "been a huge help in decorating and shopping for gifts."

"Kourtney keeps saying she already got the best gift this year with their son.

"It’s a magical time for the whole family, and Kourtney and Travis feel so blessed," they added.

FANS' THEORIES

Fans recently speculated why Kourtney hasn't yet shared photos of her newborn son.

After one fan questioned the star's decision on an online thread, others chimed in with their thoughts.

"The longer she waits the more money it's worth. I doubt she cares about the babies privacy," one person theorized.

"It was very recent that she let her daughter crying bc she just found out her mom is getting married air on TV."

"Why would she? She owes no one pics. But let’s be real, she’s saving the reveal for whatever will get her the most money," a second claimed.

"It's because they want to monetize it," reiterated another.

TAKING HER TIME

However, a source recently told The U.S. Sun that Kourtney might never return to the spotlight.

"Kourtney always wanted 40 days to recuperate after giving birth," the insider shared.

"Her pregnancy was hard and physically and emotionally challenging, and she had no intention of rushing back out there - she wants to slow it all down."

The TV personality suffered a scare weeks before Rocky's birth when she had to undergo emergency fetal surgery.

Kourtney said the procedure saved her baby's life.

"She says she has nothing to prove, but wanted to make sure all the kids were feeling grounded and secure and loved and involved," the source continued.

"Now as the 40 days are nearly up, Kourtney says she's going to take her time getting back to it.

"Friends are worried she'll never return to public life - at least not at the level she was.

"When her family ask about when she'll be back to work she tells them she won't be rushed and to back off.

"She's basically cut herself off from everyone at this stage," the source concluded.
